Louie Longoria began performing in 1991 with "The Renegades" a band in which he helped form. Playing the clubs around Mid-Michigan, they quickly became known for their style of music including both classic country and new country and 50's & 60's rock. His relaxed humor has never failed him at winning the hearts of his audience. Tommy Cash has had Louie open his shows since 2002 when he tours Michigan. In 2006, Louie had the honor of singing a duet with Tommy called "Six White Horses": A #1 hit for Tommy in 1969. Louie has also released two other CDs "Wide Open Country" and "Tribute To The Legends".
Now Louie has formed a new group - Blue Coyote Band - bringing together the talents of Scott Bates (formerly of "Heirborn" and "LTD"), Bob Cottom (also formerly of "Heirborn" and "Sawmill Road") Gregg L. Hammond formerly of Crossroads).

We found our steel player..Danny Hullihen
Louie Longoria At 18, he began playing bass and working with local groups. By 21, he became fascinated with the pedal steel guitar, and after six months of intensive practice, he was introduced to the circle of Nashville musicians by Shot Jackson, Jack Bowles, and Billy Clark. Soon after, he was invited to play for the "Sho"Bud Showcase, WSM, Radio Nashville" which is where he got his start. Danny toured with Jeanne Pruitt, as both a Bass player and a Steel player, and also with Little Jimmie Dickens as a Steel Player in the early 70's. For years afterward, you could find him playing the Detroit and Lansing night spots with his own band, Arkansas.
After a 12 year sabbatical for family reasons, Danny once again returned to his Steel guitar, playing with local groups, and performing with the "Love Always, Patsy Cline" theatrical shows. Danny has been inducted into the Michigan Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, in honor of his years of service to the Steel Guitar community, his helpful product review articles in Steel Guitar World Magazine, and his dedication to spreading the love for "Steelin'" all over the world. Danny is a personal friend of Hartley Peavey, (C.E.O. Peavey Electronics) and has been working closely with Hartley and the Engineers at Peavey in the development of Steel Guitar amplification for many years. On December 6th, 2002, Danny was appointed as the President of the Michigan Steel Guitar Club. Danny is also the President/Owner of the Jagwire String Company , which now has the largest amount of pro name endorsers in the world.
Thanks,
